Scandalous mistake in New York Knicks – Philadelphia 76ers match – Last minute NBA news

The NBA's Last Two Minute Report revealed that the referees missed many foul calls in Game 2 of the New York Knicks' playoff first round series against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The league accepted that three foul whistles were not blown before Donte DiVincenzo's game-winning three-pointer in the last part of the match, in which the Knicks won with a score of 104-101.

In the report, Knicks guard Jalen Brunson was seen grabbing the jersey of Tyrese Maxey, who was trying to take the throw-in with less than 30 seconds left. It was also recorded that Knicks' Josh Hart pushed Maxey to the ground after receiving the ball. As a result of this position, the 76ers committed a turnover and the position resulted in DiVincenzo's game-winning three-pointer.

In another article, it was stated that Philadelphia head coach Nick Nurse's attempt to call a timeout with 27.2 seconds left was not seen or noticed by the referees.

Finally, the report also included that OG Anunoby violated the defensive three-second rule and that a foul by Joel Embiid on DiVincenzo was not called.

The 76ers plan to file a complaint with the NBA over the officiating performance in the first two games of this series, a spokesperson for the Philadelphia team told ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

The third game of the series will be played in Philadelphia on Thursday.
